Psycho-buildings are buildings that go against the gridlocked stability of modern cities or modern architecture. They can tell stories of displacement or suggest cities of the imagination. They can define liminal spaces or urban design gone out of control.

Some of my psycho-building paintings combine structure with distortion while interweaving controlled painting applications with uncontrollable splatters and pours. Other buildings emerge through twisted perspectives and a feeling of groundlessness. Shifting constructions align with shifting weather patterns and unknown futures.

These buildings are diagrams for the psycho-spaces that exist between realism and fiction, psyche and environment, mind and body.
